Ce site présente la particularité d'associer un bâtiment principal en briques et pierres de taille de style XIXe siècle (qui abritait les pompes et les installations techniques) à des réservoirs surélevés cylindriques juxtaposés. Les fenêtres en arc de cercle et la corniche travaillée de la bâtisse reflètent le soin esthétique apporté aux infrastructures publiques de cette période.
